Faculty Recognized for Excellence in Teaching

Select faculty members at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences were recently acknowledged by their students and administration for being a nominee of the Kenneth G. Stoudt Excellence in Teaching Award. Named after the former chairman of the Board of Trustees, the award is given to a regular faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in teaching and student learning through instructing, mentoring and/or advising, and received a nomination from their students while meeting specific criteria.

The following faculty members were nominated: Philomena Behmer, Andrew Brader, Jessica Cheslock, Jonathan Crothers, Paul Cullen, Dolores Minchhoff, Sandra Hill, Deborah Leed, Kyle Mongeau, Dan Ozimek, Mary Phillips, Michelle Rapiey, Tara Simmons, Amy Troyer and Thola Wolanski. The award was given to Amy Troyer, Anatomy & Physiology faculty and Department Chair for Science, Math & Biomedical Programs.
