COVID-19 – Fall 2020 Update

by PA College August 12, 2020

To protect the safety of our students, faculty and staff, we have decided to shift all theory courses to an online-only format for the duration of the Fall 2020 semester. Simulations and labs, as well as some science labs, will take place on campus, with social distancing and hygiene practices in place to keep everyone safe. In-person clinical rotations will begin again this Fall 2020 semester at the majority of our clinical sites.

Unlike many other institutions in the area, we are an all-commuter campus. Our students travel from neighboring counties and even neighboring states to attend classes and clinicals. Additionally, the very nature of our institution means our students are in health care environments on a regular basis. Because these factors beyond our control place all members of our College Community at a greater risk, we have chosen to make the safest decision we can about the factors we can control.

Until the College resumes normal operations, all College offices are operating remotely to the greatest degree possible. Appointments scheduled with Admissions Counselors or Academic Advisors will take place via video or phone calls. Other PA College faculty and staff can be reached by phone or email. While there may be some delay in correspondence, our goal is to maintain as close to normal operations as possible.

As always, the best course to curb the spread of the coronavirus remains good personal hygiene – frequently wash your hands with hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds, cough or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow, and stay home if you are sick.

For questions contact us or email While we know this situation is not ideal, please know that we are doing all we can to keep our students and employees safe while minimizing the disruption to our students and their education.
