Friday and Saturday, October 6 & 7

Save the date for All Roads Lead Home, PA College’s Homecoming, on Friday & Saturday, October 6-7, 2017. Homecoming will be held at the College’s new campus located at 850 Greenfield Rd, Lancaster PA 17601. All events are open to alumni and their families, students, faculty, and staff.

As alumni, you have played a special part in shaping who the college is today and what we offer the students of tomorrow. Homecoming is an opportunity to celebrate you and thank you for the support you have provided along the way.

Check back often for new activities. Registration will open on 7/24/2017 and is required for all events. Registration packets and check in will be located at the Flory Courtyard entrance directly behind the Stoudt building.

Class of 1957’s 60th Reunion Luncheon
11:00 -1:30 pm, Small Lunchroom, Stoudt Building
Classes ending in 2’s and 7’s will have receptions and reunions on
Saturday evening in the atrium on campus. Find your class reunion contact HERE.

Wine Tasting
5:00 -6:30 pm, Auditorium Lobby, Cooper Building Registration info coming soon.
Led by a local wine expert, guests will sample a variety of wines while learning about the nuances of each. Tickets for the wine tasting can be purchased separately or in combination with the progressive dinner.

Progressive Dinner
6:30 – 8:00 pm, 2nd Floor Atrium (Cooper Building), Multipurpose Room (Stoudt Building). Registration info coming soon.
Join your friends for dinner, drinks, and dessert across campus. Check out the simulation lab and participate in our oral history project by archiving your favorite school memories on audio.

SATURDAY, October 7 2017

Favorite Professors Breakfast
9:00 – 10:30 am, Cafeteria, Stoudt Building. Registration info and list of featured instructors coming soon.
Chat with your favorite instructors from then and now for conversation and laughs. Instructors will also be joining alumni Saturday evening in the courtyard for happy hour at 4:30pm.

Nurse Practitioner’s Roundtable
9:00 – 10:30 am, Facilitated by Dr. Andrea Wolf, DNP Chair. No cost, but preregistration is required. More info coming soon.

PA College Today with President Simcox
10:30 am – Noon, Cooper Building, TBD Classroom. No cost, but pre-registration is required.
A State of the College by President Dr. Mary Grace Simcox, EdD, RN followed by An informal Q & A with students and faculty about life at the new campus.

Campus Tour and Center for Excellence in Practice Demonstration
10:30 am – Noon |1:30 -3:00 pm | 3:00 -4:30 pm Meet at the Starbucks Café, Cooper Building. No cost, but pre-registration is required.
A must visit! Come see the Center for Excellence in Practice, the new 20,000 ft state of the art simulation lab at the College. A realistic operating room, ICU beds, and high fidelity full body manikins create a safe place for students to enhance their clinical skills.

Common Book Discussion: Empty Hands by Abegail Ntleko.
Noon – 1:30 pm, Center for Learning Commons, Cooper Building. No cost, but preregistration is required.
One woman’s journey to save children orphaned by AIDS in South Africa. Read the book then grab lunch at the Starbucks Café and join the group. Click Here for info on the book, purchase, and then sign up for the discussion.

Family Festivities
Noon -3:00 pm, Outside Lawn by Flory Courtyard. No cost, but pre-registration is required.
A street magic show, balloon twisting, games, and activities! Children will also have an opportunity to explore an ambulance from the Lancaster County EMS and talk with emergency services personnel about how they help the community.

Distinguished Alumni Award Tea Luncheon
Noon – 1:30 pm. Multipurpose Room, Stoudt Building. Registration Info Coming Soon.
Join us for a tea luncheon as we honor alumnus Jane Wallace Kohn ’54 for her many years of service to the College. Step into our pop up recording booth and participate in our oral history project by archiving your favorite school memories on audio. To sign up to record your favorite memory as a student, contact us. Audio clips will be preserved and made available on the soon to be developed archive section of the Alumni website.

Lancaster General: Behavioral Health Update
1:30 pm -3:00 pm, Cooper Building, Classroom TBD. No cost, but pre-registration is required.
Find out how Lancaster General is partnering to meet the communities needs for behavioral health. Stacey Youcis, Senior Vice President of Service Lines and Population Health will share upon integrated counseling, the opioid crisis, and the new facility.

Happy Hour in the Courtyard with Favorite Professors

Class Reunions for class year’s ending in 2’s and 7’s
Receptions 4:30 – 6:00 pm. Dinners: 6:00-9:00 pm. Registration info coming soon including meal options.
Classes will also be given their own hubs and rooms with screens for slideshows and to share memories and photos. The hubs are centrally located in the atrium within the Cooper Building. Please contact your reunion planner to send photos for the slideshow. Find your class reunion contact HERE.
