High School Dual Enrollment
Overview
We have several options for high school students to further their education and explore a career in the health sciences.
Experience college in a state-of-the-art learning environment while getting an early start on your future degree. Dual enrollment allows eligible high school juniors and seniors to enroll in general education courses while also completing high school requirements. To be successful, Saint Joseph's Lancaster expects selected high school students to be in good academic standing, self-motivated, and ready for an independent college experience.
Admission Requirements
Students who have completed the following requirements can apply for dual enrollment:
- Earned cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater
- Algebra I and II
- Biology with lab
- An advanced science with lab such as chemistry, physics or advanced biology is required when applying for College courses in these disciplines.
Preferred application deadlines:
- Fall semester: February 1
- Spring semester: August 1
Saint Joseph's operates on a rolling admissions basis for this program so applications submitted after these dates may be considered.

Tuition
Dual enrollment tuition is 50% of the normal tuition rate for up to 7 credits for Fall and/or Spring semester. Students taking more than 7 credits per semester will be responsible for 100% of the tuition. Payment plans are available.

To request the application form, please email us at LancasterAdmit@sju.edu. After filling out the application, have your high school counselor send your official high school transcript to LancasterAdmit@sju.edu to complete your application.
