By hosting your event at PA College, you’re supporting more than 1,900 future health care providers of central Pennsylvania. Our rooms contain state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and a variety of food service options, including onsite catering. They’re perfect for:

Food & Beverage
Our food and beverage services are operated by Canteen, a division of Compass International. We offer dynamic menus with a broad range of options that mirror our dedication to health and wellness.
Stoudt Building Café
Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.*
Our Café serves lunch, with options including paninis, salads, burgers, cheesesteaks—all fresh and made to order. Pre-packaged sandwiches, salads and snacks, as well as pizza and soup, are also available.
This self-service “convenience store” is located in the main dining area in the Stoudt Building. Over-the-counter medications, such as Aleve, Tylenol and Dayquil are also available for purchase.
Cooper Building Café
Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.*
The Cooper Building Café offers snacks, pastries, “grab-and-go” meals and all your Starbucks beverage needs.

What is the earliest or the latest I can access event space?
Events may be held between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Client set-up and tear down must be included in these hours. Exceptions to these hours must be approved by the Events Manager.
Can I serve alcohol at my event?
Our onsite catering server, Canteen, does not provide alcohol for events. Hosting organizations are welcome to provide beer and wine for events in an open-bar format or with pre-distributed drink tickets. Beer and wine must be provided by the hosting organization or an approved vendor and served by RAMP-certified bartenders scheduled through Canteen or an approved vendor.
Do you offer A/V support for events?
Because of the user-friendly nature of our event spaces, hosting organizations are expected to operate all A/V equipment. Each space includes detailed instructions for operating the A/V equipment within that space, as well as information on connecting to the Wi-Fi network. If you run into an issue, you can contact the Events Manager for basic troubleshooting. If your event requires advanced levels of A/V support, the Events Manager can help schedule a dedicated A/V technician at an additional charge. Learn more about our A/V capabilities.
When should event details be finalized?
All event details should be finalized and submitted to the Events Manager at least three weeks prior to the start of your event. Final headcounts should be provided at least ten days in advance. While we will make every effort to accommodate last-minute adjustments, we cannot guarantee any requests made after these deadlines.
Are there taxes or additional fees on event charges?
All event charges are subject to 6 percent Pennsylvania state sales tax and 20 percent service charge. A Pennsylvania tax exempt certification from the hosting organization of the event must be presented prior to an event for sales tax not to be charged.
What is the policy for PA College delays and cancellations?
If PA College is delayed or closed due to inclement weather or other emergency reasons, all scheduled events on that date will follow suit. Contracted events will be notified of delay or closure by the Events Manager. PA College delays and closings will also be noted on our website and through WGAL no later than 5:30 a.m. on the date of event. The Events Manager will work with clients to select an alternative date to reschedule cancelled events. If an event is scheduled on a date that the College is delayed, the event will only be delayed if the scheduled start time of the event is during the delayed time period. Otherwise, the event will begin at its regularly scheduled time.
What parking is available for event guests?
PA College has several parking lots on campus shared between students, faculty, staff and guests. Specific parking areas will be determined during your event planning. The Events Manager will provide a parking map to be shared with all event guests prior to an event. “Event Parking” signs can also be placed in the parking lot upon request.
How can I decorate my event?
All event décor must be provided. Nothing can be taped, stapled, nailed, screwed or attached to walls, floors, doors or ceilings with the exception of Post-it flipchart pages. Glitter and confetti is not permitted. Candles may be used as long as flames are enclosed, such as votives or hurricane glasses.
Do you offer printing or copying services?
No. All event materials should be printed or copied prior to arrival.
Is smoking permitted on campus?
PA College is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited on all College properties and inside all College facilities.

How do I make an event payment?
Credit card information will be required to guarantee an event reservation however, payment is not due until after your event. After receiving a final event invoice from PA College, the event may be paid for by check, credit card or e-check. Credit card or e-check payment can be submitted here. All credit card and e-check payments are subject to a convenience fee.
