What can you tell me about benefits?
As part of the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health system, PA College is proud to be able to offer you exceptional employee benefit programs. These programs are designed to protect employees against catastrophic loss and hardship while ensuring they are flexible and understandable programs. Health, dental and vision plans are available to all regular employees, 0.5 FTE and greater after 30 days of service*

Every eligible employee is required to complete the benefit enrollment process.
Even if you choose not to elect any benefits, you should select “Decline” for each benefit type to decline coverage. Learn about the benefit offerings available so you can make informed decisions about your benefit selections.

What is my deadline to enroll in benefits?
New employees have 25 days from their hire date to enroll in benefits.
What happens if no action is taken within the first 25 days of my employment?
You will not be able to enroll in health, dental or vision benefits until the Annual Benefit Enrollment period for benefits.
I want to decline all benefits; do I have to do anything?
Yes, all benefit-eligible employees must log into Workday and make an election, even if declining insurance for the current calendar year. If you wish to decline your benefits, select ‘Waive’ for each benefit type.
