Biography
I am a Lancaster General School of Nursing alumni, a Penn Medicine employee for over 30 years, and a current DNP student at PA College. My nursing background includes Adult Medical & Surgical ICU (specifically open-heart surgery patients) for 5 years, Neonatal ICU for 10 years, Management at WBH for 5 years, Breast Imaging RN at the Center for Breast Health for 5 years - all within Penn Medicine. I have also worked outside of Penn Medicine as an agency nurse (I have worked at York Hospital, Harrisburg Hospital, Community Hospital, and Pinnacle Hospital) and a home IV infusion nurse (IV Dobutrex and Dopamine). I enjoy a wide variety of downtime activities, including scrapbooking, cross-stitching, camping, and reading (crime/thriller), and going to concerts. I am a huge Post Malone fan and so glad I got to see him in concert before Covid canceled all my other concerts. Peace, Light, and Learning.Teaching
