Biography
With almost 3 decades of nursing experience, I find that I still have a passion for nursing. In my full time position as the Nurse Residency Program Coordinator at Lancaster General, I am truly grateful to work with new-to-practice nurses as they navigate their first year in this challenging but rewarding career. I am looking forward to working with student nurses and guiding them and helping to contribute to the building of our nursing workforce.
On a personal note, I have been with my husband and best friend for 25 years. We have 1 bio child age 23, and 2 (soon to be adopted) children, ages 6 and 9. We have 4 dogs and foster dogs through the Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association. Over the past 10 years, we have fostered over a dozen dogs. My family enjoys swimming from Spring through Fall, hiking in northern Pennsylvania, and traveling to warms spots over the Winter.
