Biography
Nursing is a third career for me, and by extension, nursing education is a fourth. I spent 10 years in Marketing and Public Relations in Atlanta (where I was born and raised). Then, I spent 13 years homeschooling my 4 children. I always wanted to be a nurse, so when oru family moved to Pennsylvania and my last child entered school, I received my BSN from Drexel University. My acute care bedside experience includes cardiac progressive care, surgical intermediate care, emergency department/trauma, and, most recently, COVID-19 ICU/IMC. I received my MSN from Penn State and I was a clinical instructor for Penn State College of Nursing prior to joining the faculty at PA College.Registrations/Certifications
