Biography
I have been working as a nurse in acute care for the past seven years, most recently in COVID ICU/IMC, but also in emergency/trauma, surgical intermediate care, and cardiac progressive care units. Nursing is my third career. After working in public relations and marketing for 10 years, I then left the paid workforce to homeschool my four daughters. In 2013, I transitioned back to college and became a nurse, with my ultimate goal to become a nurse educator. Facilitating learning is my passion, and I look for opportunities to help others gain knowledge and skills - through clinical hours, classroom instruction, and community involvement.Registrations/Certifications
