Biography
I came to the College in 2009 after many years as a healthcare administrator at regional healthcare systems. I teach leadership, human resources, policy, health system organization and management, and other healthcare leadership and management courses. I am passionate about teaching our students how to be effective leaders while remembering to keep the human in managing our human resources (our employees). My areas of research interest are qualitative works on women in healthcare leadership and management roles. My doctoral dissertation was the stories of women who come from working class backgrounds and then become managers and leaders in healthcare.Registrations/Certifications
