Biography

I received my undergraduate nursing degree from the Loyola University of Chicago, master's degree from Regis University in Denver, CO, and doctoral degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham. My background is in pediatric nursing and I am excited to share the joy of caring for children with nursing students. I have taught pediatric clinical as an affiliate faculty since 2004 and have taught several courses in undergraduate nursing programs. My research interests include sickle cell disease, fatigue, sleep disturbances, perceived stress, and blood pressure. While not teaching you can find me outside! I enjoy all outdoor activities, especially winter sports.
