I was fortunate enough to open a 30-bed orthopedic hospital, and managed inpatient nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, social services, case management; taught pre-hospital classes for patients including diabetic education, oversaw patient experience along with quality measures for outcomes with orthopedic surgeries. I am currently the Director of Nursing at a residential facility for substance use disorders and mental health, including detox. I love to teach, so adjunct faculty is a position I thoroughly enjoy.
