Biography
I graduated in 2019 from Alvernia University with my BSN. I have worked in Lancaster General Health System for about 3 years. I started as a nurse extern and then continued working as a Supplemental Staff Patient Care Assistant in my senior year, before transitioning into my role as a Registered Nurse at Women and Babies Hospital. Currently, I still work as a clinical nurse in the Couplet Care Unit. I am working on obtaining my certification as a Maternal Newborn Nurse, and hope to pursue a certification in lactation in the future. Within my unit, I am also involved in many Shared Governance Councils and am a preceptor for new nurses. This past summer, I graduated from PA College's MSN program in Nursing Education, so I am very excited to become a part of this prestigious faculty and organization. Besides teaching and my passion for the maternal-newborn population, I also have an interest in evidence-based research and nursing advancement.I have only lived in the area the last few years, but enjoy the change from my hometown, which is on the outskirts of Philadelphia. When I am not working, I enjoy dancing, working out, spending time with my boyfriend and family, watching movies, and being outdoors!
