Biography

I graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from Penn State University in 2014. After graduation, I happened upon a job as an optometric technician at a local optometry office. During my time there, I learned to perform specialized ocular diagnostic testing and it sparked my interest in medical science. In 2020, I pursued an A.A.S. in Medical Laboratory Technology and graduated summa cum laude. Since June 2022, I've been working as a generalist Medical Technologist at Chester County Hospital. In the lab, my favorite departments are blood bank and hematology because I'm continually fascinated by the complexity of our circulatory system. My five-year goal is to begin my Master of Science in Physician's Assistant Studies.

In my spare time, I volunteer at my local SPCA and I'm also a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line. I have one cat, Murray, and he's an absolute diva. I also have two hermit crabs, Lenny and Carl. Some of my hobbies are studying foreign languages (Japanese has always been my passion), reading graphic novels, playing video games, and binging on new shows.
