Assistant Professor

Biography

I received my bachelors degree in Biology from Virginia Tech, and my masters degree in Biology at NYU where my thesis was about the genetic makeup and mutation variance of the Hepatitis C virus. I have worked as a microbiologist for several years at Johnson & Johnson/Merck, Wyeth-Ayerst, and Pfizer before becoming a faculty member here at the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. My educational interests involve Microbiology, Immunology, and Genetics, and I make Sauerkraut every year in the fall, both for myself and for the students.
