Take your nursing experience into the classroom and learn how to prepare the next generation of nurses with a master’s degree in nursing education.
Program Details
In the Master of Science in Nursing – Education program, you’ll learn cutting-edge clinical education theory, curriculum design, teaching strategy and assessment techniques to be applied in a focused area of Nursing Practice. Our Master of Science in Nursing Education includes three face-to-face sessions that will be online or face-to-face.
The MSN – Education program develops the student in both the art and science of nursing as well as the skills and competencies required of the Nurse Educator.
Students will spend clinical time gaining a deeper level of knowledge in a focused clinical area. In addition, they will also have practical experience in the academic setting. At the completion of the program, students will produce a portfolio that will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and competencies required of a Nurse Educator.
A Post-Master’s Certificate option is available for those students who enter the program with an existing MSN degree and a current RN license.

At the completion of the program, the graduate will:
