Cardiovascular Invasive Specialty Academic Certificate
As a cardiac invasive specialist, you’ll work closely with the health care team to identify cardiac problems and keep patients’ hearts pumping.
Work in an exciting environment with high-tech imaging equipment to help diagnose heart abnormalities, identify blockages and aid in cardiac catheterization and other procedures. This certificate is perfect for students with previous college experience who want to take advantage of the growing job market for cath lab technologists. After completing the Cardiovascular Invasive Specialty program, you’ll be eligible to take the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist exam.

Applicants have earned an associate or bachelor’s degree, or have completed a two-year, post-secondary allied health program. They must also complete Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II with a grade of “C” or better.
Academic Certificate Program
Students already holding an associate or baccalaureate degree, or who will have met the baccalaureate degree requirements from their primary educational program, may apply for the one-year academic certificate program on a space available basis.
