Since 1903, PA College has been dedicated to preparing highly skilled graduates to enter the health care workforce. We offer superb nursing and health science programs at the certificate, associate, bachelor and master’s degree levels to more than 1,600 students, most of whom remain in central Pennsylvania following graduation.
More than half of our students are the first in their families to attend college. When they graduate, their lives and the lives of their families are transformed because the careers we prepare them to pursue offer family-sustaining salaries and plentiful employment opportunities. Our students have chosen to pursue health care careers because they want to help people in the communities where they live. They have set ambitious goals for professional achievement, knowing that their hard work will make it possible for them to provide for their families in the future.
Our quality of life is affected tremendously by the scope and caliber of the health care services we are able to access. PA College graduates are an important part of the superb care we and our neighbors receive in a range of health care settings, from hospitals and physician offices, to imaging facilities and labs, schools, retirement communities and hospice centers.
With your help, PA College will invest continuously in innovation and the excellence of our academic programs, and make our programs more accessible to students from all backgrounds by increasing dramatically the funding we have available to award need-based scholarships.
