Dr. Petrokonis has been employed within a hospital setting as a Nurse Practitioner for the last 25+ years and is experienced in the development of programs utilizing the Nurse Practitioner role within the hospital setting, extended care facility and primary care practice. Dr. Petrokonis has taught at the graduate level and has involvement with on line and hybrid class development. She has experience and enjoys teaching a variety of courses and is particularly passionate about Evidence- Based practice and NP role development.
