• Getting started at PA College

    When you are ready to apply for admission to the College, the application is available to complete online.

    Online applications will require a $35 non-refundable credit card payment at the time of submission.

    The following documents must be submitted with the application:

     

    • A high school transcript that bears the official school stamp. High school students must submit a transcript showing work completed through the junior year and courses in progress during senior year. Admission will be provisional pending receipt of a final transcript documenting graduation and satisfactory senior year coursework. An official GED transcript may be submitted in lieu of the high school transcript.
    • Official transcripts of all educational institutions attended.
    • The SAT scores from the College Entrance Examination Board or ACT administered by the American College Testing Program, where applicable.
    • Two (2) recommendations from a guidance counselor, teachers, college professors, college advisors, employers or community/organization leaders will be accepted. Recommendations are requested and submitted electronically during the application process.
    • Essay
      • Undergraduate Programs: Describe the top three reasons why Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences is the school for you, and the top three reasons why you are the student for Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. Your essay should not exceed 500 words, and should be in a Word document, .JPG or .PDF format. *
      • Graduate Programs: Please Submit Personal Goal Statement
      *Essay may not be required for current healthcare providers applying to baccalaureate programs. Please contact the Office of Admissions for additional details.  

     


    All materials submitted for the application process become the property of the College and cannot be returned or forwarded.

    Application Review Process

     

    • Applications are reviewed once all documentation is received. Within 30 days, applicants are usually notified of an admission decision or the next step in the admission process.
    • Applications are accepted throughout the year and are considered for acceptance into the College by the Admissions Committee.
      • Offers for acceptance into our associate degree and certificate programs are made twice a year. Acceptance into the August class are made in February/March. Acceptance into the January class are made in June.
      • Offers for acceptance into our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs occurs throughout the year as space allows in each program.
       
    • Application deadlines vary based on program. Applications received after the deadline are reviewed as space is available.
      • Applications for the associate degree and certificate programs beginning in August are due by February 1. Applications for the associate degree and certificate programs beginning in January are due by August 1.
      • Applications for the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs do not have a deadline and are accepted as space allows in each program.
